We’re so excited for Corwin, a SAGE Company, and their author Marcia Tate! Corwin recently announced that Marcia Tate’s Preparing Children for Success in School and Life: 20 Ways to Increase Your Child’s Brain Power was named a finalist for a 2011 ForeWord Reviews Book of the Year Award in the parenting category. This marks a milestone for Corwin, as it is the first book that the company has published written specifically for parents.
Why was Corwin willing to try something new with Marcia?
“Marcia’s training with teachers and parents has been amazing, so publishing a parenting book with her was something we were eager to try,” said Mike Soules, Corwin’s president.
ForeWord Reviews’ Book of the Year Awards program was established to help independent publishers shine an additional spotlight on their best titles. The winners of the awards will be announced at the American Library Association conference on June 23 in Anaheim, California. To find out more, click here.
Preparing Children for Success in School and Life presents brain-compatible strategies for guiding children toward personal, academic, and career success. To find out more about the book, click here.
Congratulations to Marica and Corwin. Looks like Preparing Children for Success is a success in more ways than one!
