Where Science Meets Social: CASBS Summit 2012

In a few days, 150 of the best and brightest from academic, corporate, foundation and government sectors will converge upon Stanford for the first annual Center for the Advanced Study in Behavioral Sciences summit. The theme for the event is SMS-Science Meets Social and will feature the latest developments in behavioral science.

Adding to the event are some great keynote speakers including Malcolm Gladwell (author of BlinkTipping Point andOutliers) and Steven Pinker (author of Blank Slate and The Better Angels of Our Nature). Outside of the keynote speeches are parallel sessions held by 18 experts in fields like behavioral economics, applied neuroscience, bioinformatics, and big data analytics. The Summit will be highly interactive and promote moderated debate among the participants.

SAGE is proud to be the primary sponsor for such a prestigious event. We’re even more proud to be associated with the great work of the Center for the Advanced Study in Behavioral Sciences (CASBS) through the work of our founder, Sara Miller McCune, who sits on the CASBS board.
